Core aeration relieves soil compaction and lets water, nutrients, and oxygen reach your lawn's root zone. Our technicians use walk-behind or ride-on core aerators that extract 2- to 3-inch soil plugs spaced every 3 to 4 inches across the entire lawn. This process is especially critical for heavy clay soils common in parts of Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia. Best performed in early fall (September–October) when cool-season grasses enter peak growth, aeration also prepares turf for overseeding and fertilization.
